“There can be no greater gift than that of giving one’s time and energy to helping others without expecting anything in return.”

COFA can help plan a visit to its South Africa projects. Past visitors have included short and long term mission teams that assisted at the St. Peter Christian College campus in development of an IT program for students, refining school administration policies and teacher development, and maintenance related matters on the school campus and the orphanage. We have also have relationships with universities and colleges that allow us to host student interns.

Contact Michael Martin, COFA’s Executive Director, at michael@africaoutreach.org for more information and help in connecting with our South Africa partners that can assist in developing a meaningful visit.

Building Up the Kingdom Together, 2024

In March, 2024 COFA held its annual board meeting in conjunction with the second Building Up The Kingdom Together Conference at St. Peter Christian College in Mhluzi, Middelburg, South Africa. In addition to their duties at the conference, the 22 conference participants sang and danced at Sunday service and at the Amajuba Childcare and Youth Center and were entertained by students at the school performing cultural dancing and singing. 2024 Physician Assistant Students

During Spring, 2024, COFA hosted students studying to become Physician Assistants during their residency at the Middelburg Provincial Hospital. Their experiences with us included visiting the Amajuba Childcare and Youth Center and practicing their Zulu greeting attendees for Sunday service at St. Peter Confessional Lutheran Church in Mhluzi.
